How it works

MLB SMASH v4 is powered by a Cloudflare Worker that proxies MLB Stats API + Baseball Savant + The Odds API for live sportsbook lines, with Claude Vision for screenshot-based prop odds.

Tiers:

• 🔥 ELITE — Score 75+
• ✅ STRONG — Score 65-74
• ⚠️ LEAN — Score 55-64

HR Parlay tab — three strategies:

• Strategy A (Fixed Hitters): Pick 3 power hitters, bet $10 on the parlay every time all 3 play. Tool tracks results across the season.
• Strategy B (Daily Best): Each day, the model picks the 3 hitters most likely to homer based on park, weather, opposing pitcher, and Statcast data.
• Strategy C (Smart Conditional): Same hitters as Strategy A, but the tool only flags BET when conditions favor HRs (hitter-friendly park, high HR/9 pitcher, helpful wind, warm temp).

Multi-Parlay tab (new): Track multiple season-long 3-player HR parlays simultaneously. Get AI-recommended trios in 4 categories (Power / High-Avg / Park-Friendly / Cheap-Odds) or build your own. Each parlay shows season EV projection ($10/bet) and daily Strategy C verdict. Players don't need to be playing today — assessment begins once locked in.

Real Sportsbook Odds (v4):

• Game lines auto-pull from DraftKings/FanDuel/BetMGM via The Odds API. The -200 filter applies live to ML and totals picks.
• HR props via screenshot upload — Claude Vision parses your DK/FD screenshots, dashboard auto-computes book odds vs model probability, surfaces +EV recommendations.

Universal Parlay Builder (v5): Click the + button on any pick across any tab to add it to a cross-market parlay cart. The floating 🎯 PARLAY button appears in the bottom-right when you have legs. Click it to see model fair odds, API estimates, and upload your bet slip screenshot for the actual book parlay odds. Tool computes EV using actual book odds as source of truth.

Top Props tab (v6): Auto-pulls FanDuel prop odds for all batter markets (HR / Hits 0.5+1.5 / TB 1.5+2.5 / RBI / Runs / H+R+RBI 1.5+2.5). For each market, surfaces 🔥 +EV picks (where model probability > book implied probability) and ✅ High-Confidence picks (where model agrees with book). Click ↻ Refresh to fetch fresh odds (uses ~15-30 API requests per refresh). Add any prop to the universal parlay cart with the + button.

Book preference (v7.2): The header has a sportsbook picker. Set your preferred book (default FanDuel). When fetching prop odds, the dashboard tries your preferred book first; if it doesn't have data for a particular game/market, it auto-falls back to DraftKings → BetMGM → Caesars → BetRivers in order. Cards display which book the odds came from. Cards using a fallback book show a small badge like "DK (no FD)". EV math always uses the displayed book's odds.

Bet Log tab (v7): Track every $10 bet with closing line value (CLV) capture for monthly model validation. Log bets one-click from Top Props/Game Lines/etc., or manually from the form. After 30+ bets with closing odds entered, the dashboard gives you a verdict on whether the model is sharp enough to be worth upgrading the API plan. CSV export lets you back up or analyze externally. CLV is the key signal — beating closing line by 2pt+ on average is the gold standard for sharp betting. Win/loss alone won't tell you if you're skilled or lucky in a 30-bet sample.

v5 fixes: Search now handles accents (Suárez, Acuña, Ohtani — including two-way players). Screenshot matching is accent-insensitive. If AI parsing misses a hitter, you can enter odds manually right next to their name.

Backtest: Pick a date range from a past season, the tool replays the model and reports hit rate by tier and ROI assuming average odds. Use this to validate the model before risking money.

Data caveats: No free player prop odds feed exists — props are confidence tiers, not -EV/+EV. Cross-reference with your book.
